Take the leap: the epic pub crawl is not merely a physical path, but also a metaphysical journey of the mind and spirit.
Our ancestors held Leap Day above all other revered holidays, even the hallowed Flag Day and Saturnalia.

How does it work?
Simple! First, meet us at a pub, either the beginning pub (New Helvetia) or meet us at one of the pubs along the way. At each stop, enjoy a beer and socialize! Plan to spend around 45 minutes at each pub before heading out. It is a crawl, after all!
How many pubs are we visiting?
Simple! We plan to stop at ten local microbreweries, all within the Sacramento “grid” and within walking distance of each other. Even with just one drink at each stop, that’s plenty of beer! Feel free to pass on a beer and have a water instead if you feel you need to. The crawl is meant to be a pleasant social affair, not an excessive festival of binge.
Where are we going, exactly?
Simple! Just view the map below! For a detailed itinerary of the pub crawl, expand the map by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner.

The Epic Leap Day Pub Crawl forces us to reckon with life’s biggest questions: what are we here for? What are we meant to do with our lives? Is there a purpose to the universe or even existence itself? What does it mean to live a good life?

While the pub crawl itself offers no answers directly, the personal journey you experience during it can bring greater meaning into your life.

Pub Crawl of 2020

Founded in ancient times, the tradition of the Leap Day Pub Crawl is said to ward off monsters hibernating near the earth’s core, similair to the plot of Cabin in the Woods.
